Karma Slave

Based In Leeds, KARMA SLAVE formed in early March 2008, by guitarist Spruce Domino. He paired up with long term friend Spider Burns on bass guitar and with uncharacteristically hard rock sound, thrashy guitars and unique songwriting while still relying on various '80s rock/metal formulas, the pair added guitarist Dizzy Roulette, drummer Stixx Savage and a larger-than-life vocalist Youth to the lineup by late April. The band spent the biggest part of 2008, playing a series of local clubs in Leeds.

Having remained in contact with many friends in the music business, Domino was able to get KARMA SLAVE on the move, and landed gigs in well known venues. In late July 2008, the band played their first ever gig at The Primrose, which sold out at the first time of asking with songs like "Deathrow" and "Shotgun Shooter" being a great sucess. Nonetheless, SLAVE continued to sell out small venues and managed to get on the ROCK SOC bill at The Subculture Club in Leeds, earning them a bigger stage and more fans.

Songs like "Strength" and "Enslave" where added to the set, and quickly became successful. The band's biggest success to date was headlining the Cockpit (LEEDS) in February, playing to their biggest and best crowd yet.

In early May 2009 KARMA SLAVE went into the recording studio for the first time to record their long awaited EP " SHOT AT THE BAR". But during the recordings, tensions between group members ran high and SLAVE parted ways with Lead Guitarist Dizzy Roulette. Wasting no time at all, SLAVE set out to look for a new lead guitarist. Along came Danny Shred.

SLAVE's reputation still run's high and have already been booked to play the legendary ROCK OF AGES in September.
