Flight 815
We’ve been together a few months now, and have come across in leaps and bounds since the first few practices. The band, comprising of Sami Tesfayohanes (drums/vocals), George Hart (Bass) and Alex Allt (Guitar/Vocals), which came from the forming of a supergroup of Sami, and Harty from 'Fashion Victims and Allty from 'Cassandra Gemini' (2 pretty unsuccessful bands to say the least haha) came together as result of a short jam from session of ‘Run to the Hills’ for no real reason, and we quickly started writing our own material. Following a few gigs, organised and acquired by our business apt bassist, we recorded a 4 track E.P. – “Horace” - at ‘The Cellar Door’ in Rotherham and we organised a release night. After said release night (at which all of our new material was played) we were offered the chance to record an album by a UK based record company who are having to change there name due to a larger business in America haha, and intend to record a further five songs on top of our current collection later in the year. We hope to release the 9-track album around July, and have the release night at ‘K Corporation’ in Sheffield. This will then be followed by a three-weekend tour of UK venues reaching from London to Scotland, and with the chance to play at venues we'd of never even thought of just a few months ago.
