The Humble Hoax
The Humble Hoax formed after Mark, Joe and Martin's previous band, lost 2 of its members. Missing a guitarist/vocalist and a bassist they went in search. Martin met Ben whilst slightly worse for wear on a train and asked him to join the band. Ben, also wasted, agreed. Finding a bass player became an easy task when Barker, a long term friend of Mark and Joes, decided to move back to Sheffield in Febuary 2006. The band are named after John Humble, the hoaxer that gave the yorkshire ripper (Peter Sutcliffe) an extra seven years to roam our area and and kill people.
