McQueen
Not to be confused with the American band by the same name; McQueen produce angsty-shouty female sleaze rock with serious dollops of attitude. Unlike many who try the genre, this is genuinely good rock. The four ladies play their music with attitude and have opened for such diverse acts as LA Guns & Mad Capsule. Included is a video for the title track which is a nice slice of sleaze rock, as are the rest of the tracks especially 'Life Support ICU'. Their sound is not that far afield from Slunt. Sure beats listening to most of what qualifies as rock in the UK these days. Getting quite a bit of airplay in the US as well. A full length cannot come too soon. Yet another "catch 'em before they are huge' recommendation is in order.
