Coyote Mad Seeds

Exit Strategy One + Alter Ego + Surviving Savannah

The steel city of Sheffield has played host to many bands over the years, but none quite as Diverse as the Coyote Mad Seeds.

Originally formed as a four piece in 2007, CMS had a run of success playing gigs around Sheffields venues, even been noticed by Elliot Minor, before internal conflicts split the band apart until 2010 when two original members Joe Elsey and Rik decided to reform the band with Chris Whitehead for a short time under the name Raise The Affliction , before Rik left and Chris and Joe searched for a new drummer, found eventually in the summer of 2011 in the form of Joe Milburn

After a few practises at "The Beatlab", CMS started playing local clubs and pubs, with their first ever gig being 26th August 2011 at the legendary Dove And Rainbow with a local sheffield band Bones Park Rider. From there, they have build up their reputation on the sheffield circuit, before booking the "World Tour...Of Yorkshire" which ran from December until the end of January. During this run CMS got the privelige to support recently signed UK band Never a Hero.

In 2011, they also ventured into the studio for the first time with the new line up to record their debut EP Lies which is due for release in 2012.

At the start of 2012, internal conflicts looked like the Mad Seeds would once again split, however with the return of Rik Smith to the drums, and the first date outside of sheffield at The Pit and Pendulum in Nottingham, as well as a radio interview, CMS returned to form

Always guarenteed to put on a good show, CMS are an eclectic blend of Blues, Rock and Metal with a Yorkshire flair.
