JACKSON CAGED

Since 2009, stalwarts of the Sheffield rock scene Jackson Caged have honed their chops sharing stages with the likes of Funeral for a Friend and Spear of Destiny. Now they are entering the international stage as Noise Head Records' newest signing - with debut album 'Entity'.

Their music has been heard on BBC Radio, on stations across Europe and on the small screen as soundtrack to numerous extreme sport events. Having previously pricked the ears of infamous OzzyOsbourne guitarist Bernie Torme and being described as "the new Rage Against the Machine" by Live & Unsigned, 2014 is shaping up to be a big year for Jackson Caged.

SECRET ROMANCE

Secret Romance are a Sheffield born and bred Alternative rock group formed in early 2011 by Andrew Hudson and Cameron Murray, later joined by Adam Elliot and Adam Hill and finally Phil Webster. The band turning lots of heads with their new bold sound and vibe.

Having started off playing the city’s smaller venues, SR have worked hard to build a good reputation and had their first Academy headline show on 18th Jan 14.
After supporting local heroes like A Season of Secrets and Epitaph, as well as out of town bands such as Room 94, Destine, Disclosure and The Famous Class SR's, their energy, passion and "in your face" attitude during their performances have rewarded them with "maybe the fastest growing fanbase of any upcoming hometown band" allowing them to successfully headline their own shows that blew up, leaving fans buzzed for days.

The band are currently working on writing and recording a full album but as a taster released  their new single at the Sheffield Academy headline show.

They have played on the bill with some fantastic local artists and have supported the likes of Fearless Vampire Killers and most recently opened for Buzzcocks at Doncaster Live 2013. The band won a listeners choice competition 'Do it unplugged' on the popular radio station SineFM which also gave them busking rights at The Keepmoat Stadium, home of Doncaster Rovers. In 2013, the band fed their fans with a steady stream of demo tracks, free downloads, live videos and the release of their brand new EP in October. Having already had local press coverage, Habberdash are now receiving interest and critical acclaim from both local and national music press, with a glowing review wherever they go. With some exciting upcoming features and announcements, they are without doubt, a band to watch.
