Dr. Martens have announced that The Wytches and Bury Tomorrow will be joining a bill of equally boundary pushing headliners Dutch Uncles, Lonely The Brave and Palma Violets for their Stand For Something Tour this Autumn.
Subterranean psych-rockers The Wytches have set the underground scene on fire with their acclaimed live shows which has seen them play to rapturous crowds across the globe. Possessing that independent mentality of by-gone eras, the Brighton-based grungers will be headlining the Sheffield date of the tour at The Corporation in what’s sure to be a toxic affair.

After forming in Brighton whilst at University, The Wytches have grown to become one of the most revered and respected underground acts of the past few years. Their debut album Annabel Dream Reader showcased their distinct sound, combining psychedelic rock with grunge to create a dark dystopian sound, dripping with rawness and energy. Going from strength to strength, the band have played on some of the biggest stages over the past 12 months, and that rise is set to continue into 2015 and beyond.
What do you stand for, The Wytches?
"Our band shares a similar message to the 80s teen film The Breakfast Club: five high school students - all different stereotypes - meet in detention, where they pour their hearts out to each other and discover how they have a lot more in common than they thought. Judd Nelson's character, John Bender, really sticks it to the man. I respect that."
