Regulus - EP Launch

+ Iron Void + General + Kurokuma

On the 22nd of August Regulus will be releasing their latest offering, a 4 track EP of epic proportions.

Tickets available from Bandcamp: http://tinyurl.com/qe6m83f

During the recording of their debut album "Smoke" Regulus swore it would be another year at least before they went anywhere near the studio again, but only 2 months after it's release they had four new tracks completed that were the perfect distillation of their "sound" and they knew they had to share it with the world. With more details to be announced soon, this EP is shaping up to be their defining work so far.

Main support comes from Iron Void.

General will be travelling over from Coventry to join us on stage. Playing heavy, soulful stoner rock, we saw these guys play in Birmingham and knew we had to bring them to Sheffield. Combining heavy, sludgy riffs with catchy, melodic vocals you'll be humming their songs for days to come. Check out their album "Where Are Your Gods Now?", we've had it on repeat all year.

Local doom merchants and good friends of ours Kurokuma will be opening the show for us. If you haven't heard them before you're in for an ear-bleedingly good treat. Here's what the press has to say about them:

“When any band playing sludgey stuff in Sheffield emerges, you'd best sit up and take notice. This isn't just because it doesn't happen very often, but because it's rarely as interesting as Kurokuma.” - ninehertz

“18.2 Tons and Ursus Thibetanus proves that Kurokuma have the potential to be something special within the UK doom/sludge metal scene. All they need now is to release a debut EP or album of some kind.” - The Sludgelord
