We’re delighted to be able to announce our full line-up for the big weekend at the end of the July, with Rock the Fringe, Metallish Allsorts and Proglines all returning!
Friday night will see us Rock the Fringe, and we’ll be doing so with Scottish classic / glam rockers Bad Actress! The fresh faced quintet have cultivated a reputation for rousing live shows, both on their own headline shows and also as support for legendary acts such as Sweet, Geoff Tate, Marcos Mendoza and Gun.
Joining them on the Friday will be a triumvirate of local rockers in Baranovich, Firegarden and If These Walls Could Talk (featuring members of Fear Lies and Steal the City)!
Saturday heralds our popular annual Metallish Allsorts event. This year our heavy metal smorgasbord is headlined by the incredible Moon Reaper! The former Bristol Metal 2 the Masses winners were guests for us at a previous M2TM Final and we knew there and then that we had to get them back up here – we’re overjoyed that it’s for this show!
But that’s not all! Special guests to them at last year’s Nottingham M2TM Winners tealdeer, who got the entirety of Corp bopping along to their unique tunes at our recent M2TM Semi-Finals.
We’re also chuffed to be able to welcome back to Sheffield our old pals in Son of Boar! The Bloodstock alumni have played a few times for us over the years, especially in the early Heel Turn days, and its fantastic to welcome them back!
We also have a heap of great locals on this show, with Bansith, Dominion of Ashes, Epitaph, Stal and Waiting for Breath rounding out our Saturday afternoon and evening!
Last but no means least, we finally welcome back Proglines to our fringe offering, and boy do we have some bands for you on this one!
Topping the bill are the incredible Square Wild. Former Manchester M2TM Winners, these guys blew us away a couple of years back when they guest headlined one of ours Semi-Finals and we’ve been dying to get them back ever since. And we’ve finally done it!
Direct support will be another former Manchester M2TM winner in prog metallers VMBRA! Jaws were firmly left on the floor when they played for us earlier this year, and were an absolute no brainer to rebook for this show.
Local support for Proglines comes in a variety of guises with IL, Firegarden (different set!), Firewatch and the combo of Dean Thom (of Great North Star) & Tom Ross!
And best of all, ALL OF THIS IS FREE!
